With school starting and schedules getting busier, preparing a homemade meal for someone is not always feasible, and that’s okay! I recently put together a complete meal from Costco and wanted to share everything I included.

Choosing the Main Dish
I spotted this Italian Sausage & Pasta at Costco and decided to give it a try since it looked delicious, and this family didn’t have any dietary restrictions. My meal recipient later told me it was delicious! I’ve also listed three of my other favorite Costco main dishes below.

Choosing the Side Dishes
I chose the Mediterranean Bagged Chopped Salad Kit because it comes with two separate salad kits. They could enjoy one with dinner and save the other for lunch the next day. A loaf of bread, fresh fruit, or pre-cut vegetables would also make an easy addition to the meal.

Choosing a Dessert
I always like to include a dessert because I feel like it rounds out the meal. I chose Costco’s Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies because the container has plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Their pies are also usually a great option, and recently I spotted a Waffle Cone Bar Cake that looked delicious!

Choosing Breakfast
I always like to include breakfast for the next morning so the family has one less thing to think about. This time, I chose the Double Chocolate Chip Muffins because I knew this family enjoyed them, but Costco has plenty of other great options too!

One More Helpful Addition
It can also be helpful to include disposable plates, napkins, and silverware so the family doesn’t have to worry about dishes. I sometimes buy these items in bulk at Costco and divide them among several meal deliveries.
Costco is one of my favorite places to pick up a store-bought meal, but Sam’s Club, Martin’s, and your local grocery stores also offer convenient premade options! What’s your go-to store-bought meal?
